🌿 Employee Vitality Program

Your Health Matters Too

You take care of everyone else. Now it is time to take care of you.

How often do you know there is something you would like to change, but life keeps getting in the way? Maybe you want to eat a little better, move more, get more sleep, manage your stress, or simply feel better than you do today.

You know you should do something. The harder part can be figuring out where to begin and then sticking with it.

Now imagine not doing it alone.

The Employee Vitality Program is a 9-month health and wellness program that brings people together to work toward better health while recognizing that everyone starts in a different place.

Although it is called Employee Vitality, it does not have to be limited to a workplace. Your group could be a business, church, community organization, nonprofit, first responder organization, or another group of people who want to make healthier changes together.

Is This You?

Maybe you are tired more often than you would like. You want more energy. You know you should be more physically active, but finding the time is another matter.

Maybe stress has become part of your normal day. You would like to eat healthier, but between work, family, and everything else that needs your attention, healthy choices are not always the easiest choices.

Or maybe you simply know there are some things you could be doing differently for yourself.

You may want to:

  • Have more energy
  • Improve your eating habits
  • Become more physically active
  • Better manage stress
  • Improve your sleep and rest
  • Develop healthier daily habits
  • Make changes that may help with areas such as blood sugar or blood pressure
  • Take better care of yourself before a health concern gives you a reason to

You do not have to change everything tomorrow. You just need a place to begin.

So, What Is Employee Vitality?

Think of it as nine months of learning, doing, adjusting, and building healthier habits that can become part of your life.

The program uses the evidence-based National Diabetes Prevention Program framework, but you do not have to have prediabetes to participate. The program is about much more than diabetes prevention. It gives us a foundation for looking at the everyday choices and habits that can influence your overall health.

We talk about nutrition, physical activity, stress, sleep, and the habits that become part of our everyday lives.

And we do it with real life in mind.

Because knowing what you should do and figuring out how to actually do it when you have a job, a family, responsibilities, and only so many hours in the day can be two very different things.

What Will We Be Doing?

Over the nine months, we will have 21 live virtual group coaching sessions.

During our time together, we will work with:

  • Nutrition guidance
  • Physical activity strategies
  • Stress management tools
  • Sleep support
  • Habit-building tools
  • Worksheets and resources
  • Group support and accountability
  • Practical strategies designed for real life

This is not about trying to become someone different overnight. We are looking for changes you can make, build upon, and continue.

Some changes may come easily. Others may take a little more work. That is okay. We have nine months together.

And You Won’t Be Doing It Alone

This is something that can be very powerful.

Everyone working together toward a common benefit: better health, but each making their own changes and working toward their own goals.

When one person reaches a milestone, everyone gets to celebrate. When someone needs a little support, there are others there who understand what it is like to be working toward something too.

You share the experience and know you are not doing it alone.

Your goals are still your goals. Someone else in the group may be working on something completely different. That is part of what makes this work. You can support one another without everyone having to follow exactly the same journey.

Could This Work for Your Group?

Think about the people around you.

Your coworkers. Members of your church. A first responder team. People in a community or nonprofit organization. Maybe simply a group that could benefit from working toward better health together.

Could nine months of learning, encouragement, accountability, and working together make a difference?

If you are wondering whether the Employee Vitality Program could be a good fit for your group, let’s talk about it.
