I’m prediabetic or diabetic, and I’m not sure what I qualify for. Can you help?
Yes. Melita can help you sort this out. She conducts the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program classes, so if you’re on Medicare and qualify, she can walk you through that option. If you’re not on Medicare or you’re too young for Medicare, Best Weight On You is the right path for building eating habits and routines that support your goals. If you’re diabetic, Melita can also help you identify foods and patterns that support steadier blood sugar alongside your medical care. You don’t have to figure out the best fit on your own, Melita will help you decide.
What if my schedule is busy or unpredictable?
This program is designed to work in real life. Melita helps you build routines that fit your schedule and adjusts the plan when life gets busy, instead of expecting perfection.
Do I have to exercise to participate?
No. This program focuses on eating habits, routine, and consistency. Movement can be discussed when appropriate, but it is not a requirement.
Will I have to give up foods I enjoy?
